Beaded Snowflake Ornament
Make a sparkly beaded snowflake decoration as a winter or Christmas craft. Kids will have fun both stringing the beads and admiring their handiwork afterwards.
A 12 inch white pipe cleaner
about 40 beads of various colors depending on your desired pattern
Materials
* White Chenille Pipe cleaners
* Beads
* Necklace Cord
* Glue
What you do
1. Cut three 3" long pieces of white pipe cleaner
2. Connect the centers of these pipe cleaners by wrapping them tightly around each other to form a spoke shape.
3. Add beads to each of the spokes.
4. Trim chenille to exact size.
5. Place a dollop of Elmer's glue to each end. Once the glue is hardened the beads will be secure.
6. Take a small piece of necklace cord (or string) and attach to one of the beaded spokes.
7. Hang on Christmas tree to enjoy or use as a favor on a special gift.
