Christmas craft projects are definitely the fun way to spend a few hours during the holiday season, and Christmas decorations crafts make the best Christmas crafts. This simple craft is also inexpensive. Most items can be purchased at the dollar store. Create a variety of sizes to make a beautiful grouping for a mantle or table. Make extras and share them with neighbors and friends.

* Candle in glass holder

* Holiday Ribbon


Instructions for your Christmas Candle

This project is quick, easy and inexpensive! You can use any candle you want, but I happened to have a vanilla Glade candle on hand. I bought the 6 inch diameter gold and silver doilies at Dollar Tree last Christmas. They will have them again this year. All I did was fold the doily in half and cut with scissors. I used a tiny piece of permanent double-stick tape on the very corners at the bottom. I used just enough to hold it on. Then, I did the same thing on the other side of the candle with the other half of the doily. Lastly, I tied a red ribbon around the candle. You can make these for little gifts or to decorate your own Christmas table. If you aren't into gold, try a silver doily with an ice blue ribbon. Very pretty!
