After going on our nature walk we completed these projects...including a fall leaf turkey. (It took some time for the glue to dry but once dried it stayed together)

Materials

white glue
piece of cardstock or heavy construction paper
Various leaves
long pinecone
pair of google eyes
contruction paper (or felt) in orange or yellow for the beak
red leaf (or red construction paper) for waddle

Instructions

Go on a nature walk to gather the natural items; pinecones, leaves. Arrange the leaves to be the tail feathers of the turkey. Glue in place with white glue. Add the pinecone (use a lot of glue or perhaps a hot glue gun). Glue on google eyes, a triangle beak and the waddle.

allow to dry for several days before trying to hang.
